As an Administrative Officer you will:

  • Undertake a wide range of varied and diverse administrative tasks that support all teams within Student Services such as data entry, stationary orders, assisting Executive Officer and Directors with event management such as room bookings and catering.
  • Provide accurate advice to staff across a varied range of administrative functions including the coordination and delivery of airport transfers for international students, coordinating mental health first aid training courses for staff, preparing monthly reports, maintenance of SharePoint sites, and coordinating onboarding/offboarding processes including access requirements.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Show initiative, generate new ideas and share those ideas with others in the work area to improve processes and practices.
  • Consult with available sources to gather relevant information and seek the expertise and advice of the people around them.

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Completion of a Diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • Experience operating in a high-pressure large and diverse organisation, involving face to face, phone, and written communication
  • Demonstrated administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and deal with competing demands and deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
