This is a new role that will connect with diverse stakeholders to promote Deakin’s clinical and health trials expertise and reputation. The desired applicant has the unique opportunity to really make this role their own and build current projects from the ground-up with the support of the Associate Director, Deakin Trials Hub, and the faculty research marketing team.
As a Coordinator, Digital Marketing you will:
- Select and engage appropriate channels for marketing and engagement activities with a particular focus on showcasing Deakin’s clinical and health trials capabilities and successes to external stakeholders.
- Design and develop clinical and health trials focused promotional materials including digital and print collateral such as brochures, reports, flyers, postcards, presentations, or advertising graphics.
- Manage the social media accounts for the Faculty of Health’s trial recruitment and promotional activities.
- Create, support and implement content strategies for social media channels, monitoring and optimising all posts and campaigns.
- Coordinate marketing support for Deakin Trials Hub services, partnerships, events and trial recruitment activities, drawing on the expertise of specialist marketing and communications teams as required.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- A degree with subsequent relevant experience; or
- Extensive marketing experience and expertise; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Experience in research or health marketing (desirable)
- Knowledge of the digital marketing landscape and content requirements for each media channel
