As a Senior Adviser, Work Integrated Learning, you will:
- Drive student participation by implementing programs and initiatives that enhance work-integrated learning opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to develop, manage, and support student placements in line with university policies.
- Provide ethical and strategic advice to students and stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations on work-integrated learning.
- Develop practical solutions that address work-integrated learning challenges while meeting student and stakeholder needs.
- Maintain accurate records of work-integrated learning activities, including placements, internships, study tours, and career events.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Relevant qualifications or experience in a related field, such as higher education, student advising, or career education.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience collaborating across business, government, community sectors, and students.
- Experience navigating complex administrative structures, policies, and procedures, preferably within higher education.
- Expertise in student advising, career education, or international education, supporting student success and employability.
- Knowledge of the graduate employment landscape, including industry trends and workforce requirements.
