As a Senior Coordinator, Audio Visual Engineering you will:
- Lead with values, ethics and emotional intelligence to grow team resilience, inclusion and performance and sets clear standards of expected behaviour and celebrate and reward outstanding performance.
- Manage and coordinate the allocation of resources to respond to major incidents and problems, coordinating with relevant teams to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
- Lead the team to resolve or escalate complex AV problems by providing direction and oversight to ensure staff and contractors deliver high-quality efficient, timely and customer-focused support and advice on all AV engineering matters.
- Stay informed about relevant industry trends and best practices and contribute to innovating AV roadmaps, strategies, plans, processes and practices.
- Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of AV engineering functions through the delivery of a targeted projects that ensure compliance and an improved experience for our staff.
In a typical week, you will:
- Inspire, mentor, and coach a team of talented AV engineers, helping them grow their skills and deliver their best work.
- Work with your team to plan and deliver AV design packages, documentation, configuration, and seamless project handovers.
- Support the team in tackling AV related outages or complex incidents, ensuring services are restored quickly and knowledge is shared.
- Collaborate with vendors and partners to bring forward new ideas, technologies, and solutions that enhance the campus experience.
- Balance the big picture by managing budgets and resources, ensuring AV solutions meet University needs while driving innovation.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and management expertise; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Industry experience in the management of enterprise level audio visual services and solutions, integrators and vendors across multiple sites.
- Experience in delivering AV projects using project tools (MS Project, JIRA etc) in large complex organisations.
