As a School Administrative Officer, you will:

  • Provide highly efficient administration services across a range of core School administration, SharePoint uplift and maintenance events and governance, facilitating smooth operation of the school adhering to the University policies and procedures at all times and confidential handling of all matters.
  • Responding to enquiries accurately and in a timely manner and handling confidential information sensitively, to facilitate effective communication flow between academic staff and professional staff; senior staff of the University and external parties.
  • Prepare reports, statistical data and spreadsheets for planning and reporting purposes.
  • Respond to general enquiries and requests in a diverse range of matters in accordance with University policies and procedures and redirecting specialised enquiries promptly and accurately in order to provide an effective service.

  To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Completion of a Degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • Completion of an Associate Diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • Experience in administration and related activities in a large organisation with complex administrative structures, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience in operating in a high-pressure diverse environment, involving face to face, phone, and written issue.
