In this position you will:
- Lead the development, management, and continuous improvement of the School of Information Technology’s industry capstone program and innovation activities aligned with graduate employability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners to enhance student learning experiences and foster innovation.
- Collaborate with academic staff, course directors, and unit chairs to source industry projects and supervisors for students.
- Support the University’s graduate employability goals by providing authentic industry experiences and promoting entrepreneurial mindsets among students.
- Engage regularly with senior representatives from professional, community, and industry bodies to secure experiential learning opportunities for students.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards post graduate qualifications, or
- Extensive experience and management expertise; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Demonstrated experience in leading dynamic teams
- Demonstrated experience managing industry engagement programs in higher education
