As a Professor or Associate Professor in Design and Creative Technologies, you will be at the forefront of innovation—leading dynamic teaching teams to craft engaging, learner-centric, and research-informed courses that influence teaching across disciplines. To be successful, you’ll have:
- Academic and Research Excellence: PhD in a relevant field with a distinguished record of original, innovative contributions to teaching, research, and supervision, including leadership in immersive, interdisciplinary teaching and research at the nexus of AI-driven design and creative practice.
- International Research Recognition: Eminent authority with a strong national and global profile, evidenced by high-quality publications, exhibitions, and consistent success in securing competitive research funding from diverse sources.
- Creative Technology and Practice-Led Expertise: Proven experience applying novel creative technologies in research, with a focus on interdisciplinary collaboration and impact-driven projects.
- Leadership and Strategic Vision: Demonstrated leadership in ethical research, faculty strategy, and academic administration, with a track record of delivering outcomes that benefit partners, communities, and society.
- Collaborative and Culturally Competent Engagement: Strong interpersonal skills with success in building collaborative relationships across academia, industry, and community, underpinned by a deep understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and issues.
