As a Maintenance Officer you will:

  • Independently identify, assess, and resolve maintenance issues during after-hours.
  • Prioritise and manage tasks to ensure continuity of service and safety across facilities.
  • Escalate complex issues appropriately and ensure handover to the Maintenance Coordinator.
  • Conduct routine inspections and initiate corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions.       

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Completion of a Degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • Completion of an Associate Diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • Completion of a Post-Trades Certificate or Advanced Certificate and extensive relevant experience as a Technician; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • Relevant building maintenance and construction knowledge
