The Manager, Web Delivery is a key leadership role focused on shaping Deakin’s online presence across the research web ecosystem by creating seamless and intuitive experiences for users. Leading a high-performing team, you will work closely with a range of stakeholders to drive strategic alignment, set direction for platform development and capability uplift while ensuring the ecosystem continues to support Deakin’s research visibility, engagement and institutional priorities.

As a Web Delivery Manager, you will:

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the University to align priorities, manage demand and embed effective governance.
  • Drive a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and accountability, ensuring high-quality outcomes across all web delivery activities.
  • Define and drive the roadmap and long-term vision for the research web ecosystem, ensuring platforms are scalable, sustainable and aligned to organisational priorities.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, setting clear direction, priorities and ways of working to support delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Integrate data and insights from multiple sources to inform decisions and identify trends.
  • Provide high-level advice on complex issues, balancing stakeholder needs and organisational priorities.
  • Drive continuous improvement through application of analysis, feedback and innovation.

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or equivalent combination.
  • Experience leading functions, programs or significant bodies of work.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and inform decision-making.
  • Experience managing resources and delivering outcomes in complex environments.
