As a Senior Digital Marketing Officer, you will:
- Produce, edit and maintain web content across the Deakin public-facing website and other digital channels, utilising Deakin’s tone of voice, editorial guidelines, storytelling techniques, search engine optimisation (SEO) and/or artificial intelligence
- Coordinate the content drafting, review and approval process for domestic and international EDMs that support student recruitment
- Coordinate and implement updates to faculty, school, study‑area and course webpages using the Squiz CMS, ensuring accuracy, consistency and a positive user experience
- Action faculty‑related website change requests in collaboration with the Web Channel team, following established processes and workflows
- Coordinate and develop campaign landing pages using Umbraco CMS to support digital advertising and recruitment campaigns
To be successful, you’ll have:
- A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Experience writing, editing and producing content for websites and digital channels
- Experience drafting, editing or coordinating content for EDM campaigns
- Understanding of basic web design and user experience principles, including information architecture and usability considerations
