As a Lead, Business Intelligence Platforms, you will:
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of BI platforms to support strategic business objectives
- Oversee the integration of data from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability
- Manage the performance and scalability of BI platforms, addressing any issues or bottlenecks
- Develop and maintain documentation, including system architecture, data models, and user guides
- Assist stakeholders in developing data governance policies, monitor and ensure compliance with policies across BI Platforms
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance for BI platforms, challenge existing processes with the aim of improvement
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and management expertise; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Extensive experience in developing and managing business intelligence platforms, with a strong track record of delivering data-driven solutions that support strategic decision-making
- Experience in Alteryx Designer including proficiency in customising and optimising workflow and analytics development, with experience in solving complex data problems using the Alteryx suite of tools, ideally from a consulting background. Alteryx server experience would be advantageous
- Proficiency in BI tools and platforms such as Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, or similar, including experience in customising and optimising these tools to meet organisational needs
- Solid understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance requirements, ensuring that BI solutions adhere to organisational policies and industry standards
- Knowledge of emerging trends in business intelligence and data analytics, with the ability to incorporate new technologies and methodologies into existing frameworks
