As a Senior Administrative Officer in Faculty Services - Business and Law, you’ll be the central point of coordination for meetings, office logistics, and faculty communications. With a mix of hands-on support, process oversight, and relationship building, this role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety, takes initiative, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

As a Senior Administrative officer, you will:

  • Prepare templates that are fit for purpose for key operational matters within the division. This includes PowerPoint presentations on behalf of the Office of the Director and agendas and action plans for meetings that meet the needs of the stakeholders involved.
  • Provide advice to stakeholders that address underlying issues, promoting value-adding insights and recommendations.
  • Undertake a range of administrative tasks in line with university procedures and guidelines such as induction, space allocation, email and calendar management, events and seminars.
  • Oversee the regular updating of resources like SharePoint and Teams, ensuring a well-organised and efficient online filing system for faculty digital assets.
  • Coordinate Faculty committees, advisory boards and other regulatory functions as required linked to senior Faculty staff.

 

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or
  • Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Experience in administration and related activities in a large organisation with complex administrative structures, policies and procedures.
  • Experience in operating in a high-pressure diverse environment, involving face to face, phone and written communication.
  • Experience providing services and support in a large organisation.
