About the role:

The Support Technician, End User Computing supports the provisioning of End User Computing (EUC) hardware for staff and student-based teaching spaces within the University. The role provides first level technical support for staff that present technical problems at service hubs located on each of the Geelong and Burwood campuses.

As a Support Technician you will:

  • Coordinate, support and provide advice in relation to technical support
  • Maintain broad and up-to-date knowledge of the evolving digital landscape and keep abreast of trends and new technologies
  • Improve convenience and accessibility by providing a range of service options
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including staff and external EUC Hardware Vendors

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Completion of a Degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • Completion of an Associate Diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • Demonstrated experience in enterprise computer provisioning processes (Intune/SCCM/Jamf Pro)
  • Significant experience in supporting PCs and MACs both hardware and software
  • Significant experience in customer engagement and delivering support and advice services
