As a Hospitality Assistant, you will:
- Provide operational activities and high-end customer services, ensuring that guest experiences exceed expectations and compliments the venue.
- Assist with administration of event planning and preparation.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders including staff, corporate partners, suppliers, contractors, clients, and visitors. Contribute to engaging clients and developing strong, collaborative working relationships.
- Ensure a high-level of customer service, adhere to all quality requirements and participate in reviews of work practices to identify opportunities for improvement, implement best practices, and ensure continuous enhancement of service delivery.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Completion of an Associate Diploma level qualifications with relevant work experience or a certificate level qualification with post-certificate relevant work experience
- Completion of a post-Trades Certificate or Advanced Certificate and extensive relevant and on the job training; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Experienced knowledge of food, produce and service cultures.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires the incumbent to work outside business hours.
- This position is a flexible ordinary hours span position which offers additional loadings to salary as per clause 43.3 of Deakin’s Enterprise Agreement.
- This position requires the incumbent to hold a current Working with Children Check.
