 As a Room Bookings Officer, you will:

  • Manage booking requests and client queries promptly, ensuring high standards and agreed timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records in the University’s timetabling system and coordinate long-lead-time bookings.
  • Collaborate across teams to support academic timetabling, room bookings, and efficient space use.
  • Provide clear communication and basic advice, referring queries to appropriate areas when needed.
  • Build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships, presenting information in a clear and tailored manner.

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Completion of a Degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • Completion of an Associate Diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • Experience in administration and related activities in a large organisation with complex administrative structures, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience working in a high-volume customer service role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
