As a Senior Officer, you will:
- Provide support and advice in relation to business, administrative, and operational issues to ensure the effective and non-duplicated use of resources in implementing the Faculty’s research strategy.
- Work collaboratively with key Faculty research stakeholders and the higher degree by research teams in Deakin Research and Innovation to provide seamless logistical support for all staff, HDR students and Faculty Research Groups.
- Provide logistical support for all Faculty research seminars, events and workshops, as ell as for Faculty research groups and HDR students.
- Complete a range of processing and administrative tasks in line with University procedures
- Actively seek feedback from staff and higher degree by research students on what is working well and identifying areas for improvement.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- A degree with subsequent relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields
- A Degree with at least 4 years subsequent relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
