As a Lead Analyst, Cyber Security, you will:

• Lead the detailed analysis of security incidents to determine root cause and implement measures to prevent recurrence
• Provide technical advice and guidance to teams on how to remediate identified vulnerabilities
• Contribute to the development of cybersecurity policies, procedures and practice to ensure all security practices comply with relevant legislation, industry standards and policies
• Demonstrate strong incident response capability, including investigation, containment, eradication and recovery support, as well as guiding post-incident reviews and uplift activities
• Lead and manage security analysis and reporting, conduct security assessments of new and existing systems, networks and applications
• Provide leadership for the monitoring, analysis and proactive threat hunting to identify potential threats or malicious activities and determine severity and impact

To be successful, you’ll have:

• Proven expertise in the management of significant human and material resources
• Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience in cybersecurity analysis, strategic thinking and problem solving in a large complex organisation
• Extensive experience and sound knowledge of protecting an organisations systems, networks and applications
• Demonstrated experience in threat detection and monitoring, incident response and security analysis and reporting
• Knowledge of contemporary security tools and technology management and emerging trends
