As an Associate Research Fellow, you will:

  • Conduct high-quality research, scholarship and creative activities generating high impact science outputs
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve defined research goals
  • Effectively communicating science outputs to internal and external audiences
  • Build awareness of industry partners and participates in opportunities for research partnerships, HDRs and ECRs. 
  • Support in applications for external competitive and other funding.
  • Deliver science outputs in a timely, well-organised manner
  • Participate in intra- and inter-disciplinary research collaborations.

To be successful, you’ll have:

Qualifications and experience

  • PhD materials sciences or a relevant discipline and/or other relevant qualifications and experience.
  • emerging research and scholarship through publications, and/or exhibitions as appropriate to the discipline.
  • ability to make a contribution to communities through research.
  • capacity to contribute to teaching, research and administration.
  • excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues.
  • Ability to make a contribution to community engagement for research.

 

Please note, Conferred PhD holders minimum starting salary is based on Level A.6 - $100,472.
