The Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor, Computer Science (Quantum Computing) will lead teaching teams to design and develop courses and materials which influence teaching across Computer Science (Quantum Computing) or across multiple disciplines and provide our student an excellent learning experience. The position will lead major, highly productive, high-quality, research, scholarship and creative activities generating high impact outputs. The Senior Lecturer will also develop and lead academic or other collaborations that enable novel teaching, research or creative activities that are recognised nationally and ensure deep impact of academic activity in the field and community.
Key Selection Criteria:
- PhD in a relevant discipline
- Distinguished scholarly learning and teaching in UG and PG programs, including innovative curriculum design and supervision to doctoral level.
- Internationally recognised research reputation underpinned by publications in high quality journals, and exhibitions where relevant to the discipline.
- Success in obtaining and timely completion of competitive external research grants
- Successful engagement with research, community, industry and government to enhance the national and international standing of the faculty.
- Demonstrated success and passion for leadership of teaching, research and/or administration.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain productive collaborations within discipline and multidisciplinary teams.
- Evidence of original, innovative and distinguished contribution to research and research supervision
