Our Software Engineering team is currently seeking to appoint a Software Engineer with front-end (Angular) and cloud-native (AWS) development experience, to provide all facets of the Software Delivery Lifecycle in our strategic project teams delivering large-scale apps used by thousands of students.

As a successful candidate, you will play a key role in the design, build, test and deployment activities within the Software Engineering team, and provide expert technical advice to our stakeholders on software engineering matters.

You will also help enable our central Software Engineering practices, such as Automation, DevOps, Architecture, Testing and Innovation activities.

This is a full-time continuing role that can be based at either of our Campuses in Victoria.

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Full-stack development expertise across a variety of languages and frameworks - Angular (preferred) or other Javascript frameworks (e.g. React, Vue.js).
  • Node.js is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience with Cloud-native development – AWS (preferred), API-first development, DevOps.
  • An equivalent combination of training and experience or a Graduate qualification in Computer Science/Information Technology or relevant discipline. 
  • Excellent communication and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
